Pictures!

ok, since Cher complaining i only post in my OWN blog and not here, which is like: duh! makes sense right? that's my blog, and the reason i didn't blog here is because i don't want to repeat the same stuff, coz no point!

anyway, i'll post a few pictures that i took in chicago here and share the trip with you guys...

to begin with, we have pictures of the skyscrapers. most of them are seriously tall, at least 30 storey and above. so that makes walking on the street like walking between 2 high walls.

this thing here, is called the "cloud gate", but personally i'll still like to refer it as "the bean"! well, it's cuter to call it beanie, not to mention it really looks like a bean. as you can see in the picture, the most interesting thing about it is the reflection of the chicago city around it. btw, this sculpture is located at the millennium park.

as for this lion over here, it's just a statue in front of the art institute of chicago. the helmet? the chicago football team were having a match on the superbowl that night, so it's just a sign to support the team. back to the art institute, it's a real cool place for people who loves art though. the pieces they have inside are fabulous, personally i'll recommend jeng and kw to check it out when you have the chance. not to mention they have sculptures of cupid and dozens of architecture designs~

this is a picture of a frozen river or drain or watever it is. and the purpose of it being here is just to... let u guys know how cold it was that day, haha!

on your left is the disney store, on top you should see apple store (on the left, a bit hard to see though) and nike town. the size of these stores r huge, and they only sell certain stuff (apple only apple products, nike only nike... DUH?!). so u can basically find almost anything u want inside. and btw, this is at the michigan avenue, a street full of such shops. so it's like 1 - 2 km of such shops... sounds like a paradise for gals eh? too bad things ain't cheap, unless u choose not to convert the currecy...

ok! finally a picture of myself! just in case u guys miss me so much n want to see me~ so it's me and a few friends in starbucks! we didn't take many pictures outside becoz it was too freaking cold!

this is a night view of the city, and just in case you're wondering what's the word "bears" doing on the buildings, it's just to support their football team again as the mascot and name of the team is chicago bears.
