There was an MSA social tonite, decided to go for it, since they provide food for only 1pounds entrance fee. While walking towards the venue, a lady in her 20s approached me, asking for directions to Ramphal Building (one of the buildings in d Uni). Since the building was just opposite the venue that me was heading, me offerred to show her the way. Me gotta know that she is a secondary school, modern language teacher, studying her PhD. Soon, me was at the MSA social, there were food n games n M'sians n a few S'poreans too. Ate quite abit, played Pro Evo Soccer 2 (PES2), met a few new frens. Soon, it was 8.30pm, decided to go for badminton. While me was in d hall, it rained for a moment, but stopped when me go bak to my room at 9.30pm. It was an enjoyable night^^

Had only 1 hour of lecture, was free d whole day, so went for a MSA football session in d aftnoon. it looked as if it was gona rain, but it didnt, good! Football was fun, though my side lost quite terribly. The weather was cold, with d wind blowing. My hands were so cold, that me cant feel it half way through the game, even find it hard to put on my jacket after the game! Tiring, cold, but it was realli fun! My 1st football game since 5 months ago. With tired legs, me had to walk a long way back, since the field was quite far from my room >_<

Went for badminton at 7.00pm, was raining. Manage to play a few matches. While waiting for the next game, talked to Jack's (a.k.a Jeng Yeong) friend from China. No idea how it started, but we were chatting abit about d racquet in our hands. Mine was a club racquet though. Part of the conversation goes something like..
Friend: 你的拍哪儿买啊?
Me : 这不是我的,是学会的.
Friend: Huh?! (with a confused look)
Me : 学会的... Badminton club...
Friend: 哦.. 学会的...
Me : 不叫学会吗?
Friend: 哦, Biology, science and maths的是学会, 这叫俱乐部..
Me : 哦..
Okay~ my chinese is not that good, me know me know! Really need to improve my chinese! Was tired due to yesterday's football, but still managed to enjoy the games. It was still raining when me went back to my room.
Me learned a few things within these days...
1. English weather is unpredictable, n it rains alot!
2. The phrase 'Dont talk to strangers' is wrong! U might miss out on helping people, n i bet, thats how u met most of ur friends ^^
3. When playing football in d cold weather, u can afford not to wear ur jacket n tracksuit, but nvr ever forget to wear a glove! if not, u wont b able to put on ur jacket after d game..
4. Its called 俱乐部, not 学会! rmbr! 羽球俱乐部!
Last but not least, which me just learned,
5. how come there's only 4 of us posting?! where are the other 4?
Anyway, there's another badminton session in 10mins time, gotta exercise more! hope d 4 ppl (u know who u are), post post post!! Cheers! (thats what d UK ppl alwiz say, instead of thank you) CHEERS!!
